Report: Dog Food Made in Lexington Co. Sickens 14

The Diamond Pet Foods plant in Gaston has been shut down for a month.

More than a dozen people across the country have been sickened by dog food made in Lexington County. Diamond Pet Foods shut down its operations at a plant in Gaston last month after a salmonella outbreak, according to this Associated Press article in the Post & Courier. The company said no dogs have been sickened. The company paid millions in 2005 after its food was found to have sickened and killed dozens of dogs.

This place is an insult, this isn't the first time, but needs to be the last! Close it, shut it down permanently, and prosecute the management in charge that allowed this to happen continuously!! China knows how to handle this along with Alice's Queen of Hearts- Off With Their Heads!   more ›
