LCSD Plans Tasty Fundraiser
Sheriff's Department's Cook-a-Pig fundraiser coming next month.
Lexington County Sheriff’s Department resident deputies will conduct a Cook-A-Pig fund raiser, with all proceeds benefitting South Carolina Special Olympics. Lexington County Sheriff James Metts said deputies will barbeque Boston Butts. One ticket for a 10-pound Boston Butt can be purchased at a cost of $40. Citizens who would like additional information about the Cook-A-Pig fund raiser can contact Red Bank Resident Deputy Nick Parker on his voice mail at (803) 785-1459 or via email at nparker@lcsd.sc.gov, Metts said. The Boston Butts will be available for pickup between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 5 at the Lexington County James R. Metts Law Enforcement Complex, 521 Gibson Road, Lexington, Metts said.
