Two different guns were used in the in a home in the Ascot Estates subdivision in Irmo, according to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts.
Tammy Parker, 44, was identified by Watts on Saturday as one of the two people who were shot and killed in Parker's home with her husband, Brett, on Tackeria Court.
The other was 46-year-old Brian Capnerhurst of Batesburg-Leesville.
Watts said Parker was found in the upstairs office of her home and Capnerhurst was found in an upstairs storage space near the office.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, Watts said in a release Saturday.
In a WIS-TV report, Watts said the incident, which happened around 12:15 p.m. Friday was not a home invasion as early reports on Friday suggested and that Capnerhurst was invited to the home.
Brett Parker was at home during the incident.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department have not released specific details of how the shootings occurred.
