Two Charged in Alleged Meth Lab Operation

A man and a woman have been charged with manufacturing meth in Lexington County.

Officers with the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested two West Columbia residents Thursday for allegedly operating a meth lab in their home.

Brandon Tramell Sulton, 32, of 108 Pinecrest Drive, West Columbia, was charged with second-offense manufacturing methamphetamine.

Regina Williams Wangness, 42, of the same Pinecrest Drive address, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Around 1:14 a.m. Thursday, NET officers executed a search warrant at the Pinecrest Drive home and found evidence that both Sulton and Wangness were actively operating a meth lab at the home, according to a news release.

Sulton and Wangness were being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting bond hearings.
