We would like to invite you to join us at the Firehouse Subs located at 7467 St. Andrews Road in Irmo on Tuesday, July 31, at 10:30 am, where Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is awarding the Irmo Fire District much needed equipment in order to continue protecting and serving the residents of Irmo, St. Andrews and surrounding areas.

Valued at more than $6,000, the donation will provide the department two MSA Altair 5 Air Monitors, one MSA Altair 5 Galaxy Calibration System, one HCN Calibration Gas and one Mixed Calibration Gas. The donated equipment will assure firefighters are breathing safe air and will assist with detection of deadly gases. 

Despite drastic funding cuts and 5,000+ firefighters losing their jobs, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated more than $4.5 million to public safety entities across the nation and $550,300 in South Carolina since 2005.
