Leaphart Elementary School recently hosted Grits for Grandparents, a celebration for students to honor their loved ones by inviting them to a special breakfast.

At the event, guests took photos with their grandchild as a keepsake of the special event.

Frank Wilson, a father of a fifth-grade student, donated his time to take the photographs of the families. 

More than 200 people attended the breakfast.
