Rep. Ballentine Seeks Another Term
Rep. Nathan Ballentine has filed for re-election to the State House of Representatives.
Rep. Nathan Ballentine, who represents District 71 (Lexington and Richland counties), announced his campaign for re-election to the State House of Representatives.
Ballentine has served Irmo, Chapin and Dutch Fork since 2005.
Jobs and economic development are two areas Ballentine said he will continue to focus on.
“I truly understand the impact this economic downturn has had on our state. I am committed to do anything and everything I can to help grow our economy, promote business development and ultimately create more jobs. While we have made some improvements recently, I will not be satisfied until everyone here that wants a good job can get a good job,” Ballentine said in a release. “I want us to have the best place in the State to live, work and raise a family.”
The statewide primary election will be held on June 12. The filing period ends March 30.
