Register for High School Summer Program

Register for Lexington-Richland 5's high school summer program.

 

Lexington-Richland 5's High School Summer Program begins June 11 and this is the last week for students who are repeating a course to register.

The program will be held at Irmo High School for Dutch Fork and Irmo students, and the Alternative Academy for Success for Chapin students. The program is online and self-paced. Attendance is required from the first day of the program until all requirements of the course are met.

Students must register at their home school and pay a non-refundable deposit of $25.

The cost for the program for in-district students are below:

  • 1 Credit: $100
  • 2 Credits: $200
  • ½ Credit: $75

The balance must be paid in full by Wednesday

Course offerings include the following:

1 Credit Courses

  • English I-IV
  • Algebra I, part I & II
  • Algebra I & II
  • Geometry
  • Global Studies I & II
  • U.S. History
  • Physical Science
  • Biology I
  • Earth Science

½ Credit Courses

  • Government (Seniors Only)
  • Economics (Seniors Only)
  • Earth Science (DFHS/IHS)

Sessions are held Monday-Thursday starting June 11-July 18. There will be no school on Fridays or July 4 & 5. Graduation will be held at July 19 at 5 p.m. at Dutch Fork High School

The sessions are offered at the following times:

  • 8 to 10 a.m.
  • 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • 12:45 to 2:45 p.m. (pending enrollment)
