A Dutch Fork High School teacher has been named one of three finalists for the 2012 South Carolina Spanish Teacher of the Year award.
Erin R. Gilreath was named as a finalists by the College of Charleston and The Citadel chapters of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society.
Other finalists are:
- Crystal Helper, West Ashley High School
- Martha Gadsden, Berkeley High School
The winner will be announced at an official award ceremony at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 at The Citadel.
